— Galia Georgieva Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy for children, young people, and adults.

A psychopathology and trauma-informed practice grounded in evidence-based therapy and long-term relational work — serving all three stages of life under one continuous approach.

Galia adheres to the ethical frameworks of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the British Psychological Society (BPS), and the British Neuroscience Association (BNA).

Who I work with

Therapy across every stage of life

Children

Young People

Adults

Play, drawing, and behavior are primary languages. Sessions are structured to meet the child where they are, at the pace development allows.

Adolescence carries its own pressures. Work here takes identity, relationships, and school context seriously — without reducing them to symptoms.

Adult therapy is relational and evidence-grounded. The work moves at the pace the material requires — honest about process, not structured around quick resolution.

/ Method and practice

Grounded in evidence, shaped by the relationship

The work draws on established frameworks — cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and developmental — applied to what each person actually brings to the room, rather than to a predetermined agenda.

The first step is a brief conversation.

No commitment required. A short initial call to discuss what you are looking for and whether this practice is the right fit.
